Great show, But the audio is really bad. I listen in my car and all the mikes are on different levels. Not even close.
Or some are talking to low or not close enough. I have to turn it up to hear one guy, then the next
guy talks and about blasts out my speakers.

There is a fine line between meandering and content. I think your first podcast deserves a “B” for staying with content. Some of the more famous podcasts have crossed over the banter line and have fallen off my radar. I look forward to your second podcast. I have learned to hold my Evernote correctly – thanks.

I know I’m the only one in the world with a Zune, well there might be another somewhere, but I’ve tried all the links I can think of to manually subscribe to this in the Zune software. What should I use? Thanks in advance.

Hello Evernote team.
Interesting stuff… but:
* Very long for the news delivered,
* A few slides summarizing the overall would be welcomed
What about the export strategy ? some news would be very welcomed also…I would like to insist on this point… I like evernote, I like the idea to be freed up from OneNote, I like the functionality allowing me to access my data from any kind device, from anywhere in the world… But I would like also to have better visibility about exportation facilities for my notes… HTML works far better since the new agent version, now can export the attached files also…but only for some notes selected… when would it be possible to do the same for a complete notebook ?
Anyway…to criticize is always easy…your product is great, just let us how we can manage (import/export) our datas…this is as important than agent availability for other platform.

Please make up your mind. Do you want to be a gang of stand up comics? Or do you want to communicate something important? In this podcast, the balance is about 90/10. IMHO it should be the other way round… you’re not doing yourselves any favors with this kiddies playtime stuff…

Liked the (long) podcast. I’ve only recently started using Evernote but now I don’t think I could live without it – especially as Google Notebook are now not being supported by Google. I feel shortchanged by Google and really hope that Evernote only have advertising to keep the site free. Still getting to grips with the different features but well done.

You should put clear instructions on how to suscribe with other than iTunes, like “suscribe with something else”. Only that will be a reason for some like myself not to suscribe.

Guys–Pretty funny and useful. Yes, I’d recommend seeing how you can get these down to 10 minutes max in the future, but all in all I found it an enjoyable light listening experience. Please tell the slobmeister FoxPro expert with the imaginary corporate jet, aka your CEO, to please speak louder or closer to his microphone the next time out.

Oh, and while we’re at it, any chance of getting support for TABLES into the Windows and Web clients?

Josh, I’m not Mike, but the box is bothersome to me because it is NOT tiny if you are using Evernote on a netbook with a 1280×600 resolution. Judging from the other comments, there are quite a few of us. Seeing the fact that Evernote actively markets to users who are “on the go”, it also seems that we are in their target market. The ad is, in fact, so large that it makes the tag sidebar, and therefore the application, almost useless, especially (but not only) if you use large or extra large fonts.

I wish Evernote had adapted a different business model. I don’t need all my notes online, I don’t want all my notes online, and I am not interested in buying a 90 USD subscription (assuming I’ll use the product for two years) just to get rid of an ad window, for a program that just killed one of its main selling points (text recognition in images on my computer). I would, however, happily pay 30-50 dollars for a local version of Evernote, that keeps getting better (Evernote needs a better editor, some features that were in version 2 need to come back, etc.).

Mike, I’m not sure I understand your concern over the ad box. Does it really bother you that much? I know you understand that Evernote needs a steady stream of income, so why is that tiny little ad box so bothersome? Yes, it’s a blight on my Evernote. But isn’t it understandably necessary?

Here’s hoping you listen to their feedback on the two more significant issues and remove the ad box (which only Douglas seems to truly appreciate) and restore local image processing.
