Geez, since Andrew was too cheap to license this song to play during my modeling segment, you need to open this in a separate tab when we start talking about T-Shirts:

Senior PHP Software Engineer
I didn’t appreciate the comment, “So no PHP script kiddies” in reference to hiring a software engineer for Evernote. I’m a very accomplished senior PHP software engineer who heads up a decent sized PHP development team. I personally build automation and production systems handling millions of dollars of product a week for a large company, all built on PHP applications.
Not everyone who works with PHP is a script kiddie. Perhaps the comment was to weed out less experienced developers from applying, but it certainly sounded as if their was a clear bias against anyone working with this language.
As a long time proponent and premium user of Evernote, I’m personally offended about this comment.

I made that comment. No offense intended. There are a lot of people who got a third of the way through a PHP book and call themselves web engineers. You’re clearly not one of them. Could have said it about any language, but PHP came to mind because I always think it’s funny that it used to stand for “Personal Home Page”. Nothing wrong with the language itself if you know what you’re doing.

An e-ink Evernote would be a reason to buy a Kindle. Will you be looking at the newly released SDK in the near future? Thanks.
