Today, we bring you a different sort of update: our newly redesigned blog. The goal of the new look is to make it easier to find what you’re looking for, to help foster meaningful discussion, and to make the whole thing easier to read. Here’s a description of what we’ve changed:
Featured posts

Our main blog page now greets visitors with three featured posts. After over two years of existence and over 200 posts, our blog has a ton of great content. These featured posts will be a mix of old and new posts meant to help improve your Evernote experience.
Threaded comments

Comments on the blog are now threaded, meaning that replies are visually distinct from new comments. Our hope is that this will allow us to have better conversations with you, as well as allow you to have discussions with one another.
We’ll also be experimenting with some almost-live Q&As using the new threaded commenting feature. Stay tuned for that.
Better navigation

The post categories are now right at the top of the blog, allowing you to easily jump to specific topics. We hope you take a look around, there are some really interesting user stories and partnerships that are worth exploring.
Easier reading
The new blog is easier on the eyes in more ways than one. The new look is much more readable. We made the content area wider and increased the contrast between the text and background.

I really like the new blog design – it looks very attractive and the highlighting of articles and arranging of things into sections really helps with finding specific posts.

i agree these threaded comments are cool!

Looks great guys! My only suggestion would be to also link the images in the featured posts section. My first inclination was to click one of those, until I realized I had to click the post title underneath it.
Great work!
Natalia Ventre
I agree with Ben, thanks to the threaded comments.
Christine
I also agree with Ben about the linked images to the featured posts.

Ben, thanks for the suggestion. We’ll look into doing that.

The blog looks really good… please make a symbian evernote app.
John Lagomarsino
Love the new look. My only suggestion is to rename/redesign the title bar. “Get the Latest Noteworthy News” wasn’t what I was expecting to see at the top of the blog, and my first thought was that it was a banner ad. Something involving the word “blog,” and maybe not in a white box, would better communicate the intent, I believe.
Looks great!
