Get rid of the stacks of documentation and records that I keep “just in case”. Okay, it doesn’t get me past my packrat mentality, but it sure organizes it!!

This little gem looks amazing! In 2 weeks, I’ll be moving across the country using a minimalist approach. I’m ditching most of my possessions, shipping only what I need to keep and flying west. Amidst the ditching and packing, I hit a snag. The stash of papers that I am finding throughout the apartment (so far, several hundred pages). It’s truly mind-boggling! What can save me? The Canon P-150 scanner with Evernote.

Being a student has lots of needs. This would be great for assignments, handouts, notes, and etc. can be so difficult to keep track of. As being a married woman who is head of the household, I also have to juggle bills, receipts, and documentation. Being able to scan everything from all walks of my life into evernote would give me the extra time and less stress I need to be on top of my life.

Until my NeatCo Scanner works with Evernote, I hope to get a Cannon scanner. I scan all the time with one scanner at home and one at work! At home I scan medical paperwork and receipts. At work I scan paperwork, receipts and handwritten notes to keep in my records.

I will scan the boatload of papers on my desk and recycle them. It might even help stimulate the economy when I have to buy another hard drive to store all my newly-scanned files.

I’m a harried doctoral student awash in paper, notes, clips, scribbles and more. Heaps of journal articles, ‘good idea’ notes, and more cover all the horizontal surfaces in my house! I’m putting my digital notes on Evernote but could use one of these scanners to get the physical stuff out of my way. Plus things from my husband, our personal clippings, mag articles, recipes, etc — please let me win one of these and allow visitors to my house again! lol

This is perfect for my real estate business, I can scan all my documents associated with a sale and have them available no matter what computer I use. In the past I had to upload my documents and then email them to my other 3 computers to have access.

As a mortgage lender, there is a dizzying array of new paperwork, forms, lender changes etc. that cross my desk. Would be outstanding to be able to immediately scan and forward into my new pal, Evernote. Thanks!

I must confess – I have killed ALOT of trees over my 16 years as a Business Owner of a Mortgage Lender.

I have made an agreement with Mother Earth to correct my evil, wicked ways by following a greener rule to handling the inevitable “Paper” that slips into my life.

Touching Paper Only Once – was a GTD (Getting Things Done) tip from long ago, now that I use Evernote – it’s completely possible to Touch Paper Only Once! Nothing is better then to have a life with:
* no paper
* no filing of paper
* no looking for papers filed

This brings me much joy & happiness! To have a portable scanner to carry with me would make my agreement with Mother Earth that much easier!
