I have wanted a widget type Evernote app for Windows or Mac so I do not have to take up disk space on all my computers with redundant notes. I am a premium Evernote user and use it on my Droid, my Windows laptop at work, and my iMac and Macbook Pro at home. I do not need to load down my laptop drives with all the notes as both are always used with the internet, besides I can always download a note with my Droid.

I found a way to have my cake and eat it too with Fluid http://fluidapp.com/. Fluid can be used on a Mac to make any web application a desktop program complete with an icon for the dock.

I made an Evernote Lite app with fluid to try it out and it works great!

Just wanted to pass on the information.

Hi guys,

I'm a premium user and love both the Evernote app and the podcast, I run Windows, Mac and iPhone versions (so far). I'm a learning GTDer and I picked up egretlist which is a fantastic app which plugs in to Evernote.

On the En Website there is a page called 'works with us' about hardware.

You make such a good job of promoting apps which work with Evernote on the Blog and the Podcast, why is there no page listing apps which work with evernote. The example I would equate this with is basecamp at http://basecamphq.com/extras.

I'm really keen to see what else works with Evernote and rather than searching through podcasts and blogs, a single page would be awesome.

Thanks
Geoff

First: Evernote rocks!

I am into GTD for a few years now and I use OmniFocus as my main GTD app and Evernote for reference. These are the two most important apps in my system, always running side by side!

I just would like to be able to reference Evernote notes to OmniFocus. Just a reference by UUID to the document in Evernote that would work on every device I have (MacBook, iPhone, iPad). I prefer only a reference because I don't like to have documents attached directly (physically) to OmniFocus as it slows synchronisation and I'd have multiple copies of the same document again all over the place.

I heard either Omni or you talking about a tighter integration of the two apps about a year ago but I can't remember where. Any news or plans about it?

This would make my live so much easier (again). It is just so obvious that the two apps should be able to talk to each other. (Maybe I just missed something?)

Greetings from Switzerland and keep up the brilliant work.

I've just brought a snapscan & loving it! I've recycled sooo much paper!
One question - sometimes the jpgs are the wrong orientation - I have to go into paint, rotate, save. Can you enable rotation of images (& pdfs?) from right mouse click?

Ben,

You can make voice notes in most of the mobile clients and drag audio files into any of the desktop clients. Lot's more functionality around this is in the works.
