Meet Tim and Jenn
Tim Gruber and Jenn Ackerman are a husband-and-wife photography team based on the Outer Banks of the North Carolina coast. With an Emmy Award under their belts for their in-depth, narrative photojournalism and other commercial projects (namely the Miss Universe / Miss USA Pageants), Tim and Jenn wanted to tell other stories in their “off” time—joyful stories—so they put their talent to work on weddings, launching The Love Project. At a glance it’s a simple (seasonal) wedding photography service, but as you explore their site, you’ll find a thoroughly synthesized artists portfolio that showcases the personalities and uniqueness of their clients, bringing their stories to life through photography.
It was this focus on the details of their craft that made Evernote, with its visual user experience and organizing capabilities, a natural choice.

Evernote for their photography business
Jenn and her new husband put Evernote to work in their growing photography business, using it to visually catalog, clip and tag items as they research and develop upcoming projects. With all their content and information, Tim and Jenn share their Evernote notebooks so that they can always see what the other is working on. They use tags to categorize their photos and web clips, and upload scans of business receipts into Evernote to keep all the details and inspirations wrangled in one, always-available place. As creative people, they enjoy being able to visually manage all of their information and organize it in ways that makes sense. Prior to Evernote, Tim and Jenn were using a combination of various programs and applications to do the same thing that Evernote does.
Evernote keeps this team organized, centralized and focused on what’s important: their craft and their stories.

For wedding planning
Tim and Jenn had already planned their wedding by the time they found Evernote, but Jenn, having freshly finished the process, instantly saw the value of Evernote for wedding planning. She notes that it’s especially great for planning remotely. Living away from her mother, an integral part of the planning process, Jenn would have loved to be able to share a notebook with her mother to collaborate over ideas and logistics for the big day.
