A couple of weeks ago we launched the Evernote Site Memory button. It’s a great way for site owners to allow visitors to remember and find all of their favorite content without ever leaving the site. Today, we’re excited to announce that a Site Memory plugin is available for the WordPress blogging platform. For all of you out there with blogs built on the WordPress.org platform, embedding Site Memory is now a whole lot simpler. This plugin is developed and maintained by Slocum Design Studio.

Once you’ve installed it, the plugin automatically adds a Site Memory button to all of your posts. No configuration is needed. There a number of possible customizations available for more advanced users, you can choose the button that you want displayed, the notebook into which the clip should be placed, headers and footers to include, and more.

Please note: This plugin is for blogs built using the WordPress blogging platform available at WordPress.org. It won’t work for blogs hosted on WordPress.com, because WordPress.com does not support plugins. A little confusing, we know. Here’s their explanation of the distinction.

    you are so great !

I’ve installed the plugin and added “content” to the content id field and when I clip the page, I still get the entire page.

Any suggestions as to how to fix that?

I’m using the genesis lifestyle theme from studiopress and have wordpress version 3.0.1 installed.

      Hi Darki,
If you post in the WordPress support forums (http://wordpress.org/tags/wp-evernote-site-memory?forum_id=10#postform) and provide a link, I can certainly take a look for you!

I’m using Site Memory for WP on my site, CountryMusicChicago.com. Not because I have to but because I think it’s a great resource and I want to encourage people to try it out.

One thing. Maybe it’s my site but it seems really slow. Can someone look into this.

Hey, very cool! That’ll make it much easier to integrate Evernote into WordPress. Though I think I’ll stay with my hand-crafted integration on Techinch.com for now :)

Great idea. I love the ShareThis button, and this is a nice complement.

However, after installation, I can’t seem to get it working. I’m running WordPress 3.0.1, and I can see the configuration options in my wp-admin pane. I see the Clip icon, but nothing happens when I click. Same thing on Chrome, Safari, and Firefox for OS X. Anyone else reporting problems with the plug-in?

Here’s my site; you’ll the button below any of the posts. http://nicomachus.net

Any help is appreciated. I’d love to get this working, as I preach the Evernote gospel all the time, especially in academic settings where it is particularly useful.

Fixed! After a couple of hours debugging, it’s working. And I can’t tell you why. Looks great.

This is a pretty cool plugin. From what I am reading on here, I will put it on my business website once I get back to the office.

I am using it on my 3 blogs. Thank you very much, Andrew ! :)
