It’s great that evernote is posting new tips on how to best use evernote while my account has been offline for much of the business day due to a “shard error”. If only I could actually reach my account to practice these – or if someone would at least take 30 seconds to write a blog post explaining why I CAN’T reach my account, and when it might actually be fixed. Love that Premium support I’m paying for!

I’m not sure what your note layout is but if your note is title “Garden todo” or something similar you should be able to find it using the intitle operator for searching.

For example: intitle:”Garden todo” (you do need the quotes)

That would return every note (assuming you are searching all your notes) that have “Garden todo” in the title.

Hi Carley,
I’m not sure if you are the correct person to ask this question, but I have tried to find this information and so far have been unsuccessful.
I’ve been using Evernote for about 1 1/2 years now and feel I have a fairly good understanding about how it works, BUT I am quite frustrated with the difficulty I have searching for info that I have clipped, etc. I tag the info with a key word that makes sense to me, at the time, but when I do a search I end up with way too many items in the list! Recently I made a Garden To Do list. When I search for that, I end up with every entry that has the word GARDEN, TO & DO, which are numerous. I’m obviously doing something wrong. I can go to a specific tag word and eventually find what I’m looking for, but I feel I am not “filing” information correctly.
Can you and would you please help me or forward me to someone who can.
