This is very exciting. I oversee 8 Evernote accounts for a company with 75 employees and 8 locations, with one “Master” account, and the other 7 sharing folders to the Master. I’ve got us to a 95% or so paperless office, and Evernote has made the task so much easier. It can be a tedious process, so I can’t wait to use this! Bring it on!

I have been talking about this with my business and our 5-60 staff members agree that a large feature missing is the ability to schedule notes with deadline that lets you know when a deadline is coming up on a note – basically appending something that would help notify you.

Any ideas on this and if it will be added?

As a long time user and advocate, I’m very excited about this release. Security is of course the no 1 issue for even small companies. I’ll read more, but wish you every success.

With this push towards business (which I think is a good one, fwiw), does this mean better server-side encryption is coming as well (TNO)? I’m not sure I’d be willing to trust a site with corporate data if EN employees can potentially access it – regardless of how many times the people in charge say that won’t happen.

the implications of this product for use in a SMB environment are huge. I work for an IT services company company’s surely would like to know if there will be a partner or authorized consultancy channel for such a service

I am assuming that Evernote Business will enable a team of people to clip webpages (using your clipper functionality) to a single Evernote business folder so everyone in the team can share the goodies they find on the web with everyone else?

That would solve lots of sharing issues!

Great idea – congrats!
I am currently supporting several SMBs in Switzerland capturing their knowledge so it can be easily accessed from the workplaces – be it in an office, in the shop, at the workbench – and evernote would even allow it to be available while on the go!
Hope you shall also make it available in the German speaking markets asap.
