Evernote Insider: Win an Evernote Smart Notebook from Moleskine

One of the big announcements at ETC was our partnership with Moleskine. Together, we created a stylish new Evernote Smart Notebook designed to work with Evernote’s Page Camera feature in iOS. The notebook comes with a pack of special stickers that, when attached to the pages of the notebook, are automatically recognized by Evernote and associate your handwritten pages with tags in your Evernote account. For those of us who love paper, but want to save our thoughts digitally, this is a really exciting partnership.

This Month’s Giveaway

In this month’s Evernote Insider, you have a chance to win one of five Evernote Smart Notebooks (pocket size with squared paper). As a reminder, the Evernote Insider is a monthly program aimed at introducing you to great products from Evernote and our partners. Every month, we host a special deal or giveaway on our Facebook page and you enter to win some great stuff.

How to Enter

  1. Go to our Evernote Insider Facebook page, and Like us to access the giveaway page.
  2. Click on Submit Entry, and enter your name and email. You can choose to use your Facebook profile if you wish.
  3. Next, tell us how you would use the Evernote Smart Notebook by Moleskine in 200 words or less. You can also vote for your favorite entries (1 vote per day allowed).

People who submitted the entries with the top 5 votes by September 30, 2012, will win a notebook. If there is a tie, ties will be broken by a random drawing. See our official rules for more information.

We can’t wait to hear how you’ll be using the Evernote Smart Notebook by Moleskine. Good luck!

This is the perfect marriage for me! I can’t purchase until there’s an Android version of the app though, I don’t use iOS.

Would use the notebook as a backup to my Evernote.

    Hi David,

When using Page Camera, try holding your phone far enough away that all of the edges of the page are in the image area, rather than filling the image area with the page. Page Camera will automatically crop the photo to the edges of the page for you, so you won’t lose the top and bottom of the page.

I got one, and thought it was good, but not amazing.

I find the CamNote notebooks work well with Evernote. These are paper notepads that can be scanned using their free app. I find the quality of the scans very crispy. The app also automatically syncs to Evernote – making Evernote perfect.

If anyone discovers a better solution, let me know – I’m always up for trying better ways – robjohn@outlook.com.
