Yey! I missed you guys. Keep podcasting.

  • jbenson2

Glad you’re back. I missed the banter and enthusiasm.
6 months is a long wait for the release.

  • AndyB

Phew! I thought you guys had given up!! One of my favourite podcasts!

  • Matthew Packer

So glad to see the podcast is back. Was wondering of you had abandoned it! Happy to hear about Evernote business and sox. You need a new podcast icon though. And in the absence of the podcast the feed has been messed up. I needed to stream this episode with safari rather than use the XML link to pocketcasts.

Awesome as always! I expect you guys will get some corrections of the pronunciation of “Moleskine”, but they have made clear that there is no single correct way to say it. I was curious to know how THEY pronounce it when you dealt with them.

  • Mark Clark

Isn’t Moleskine an Italian company? If so, Their name is pronounced… Mahl-a-skeen-ah, not Mole skin.

  • Vance McAlister

I agree, Mark Clark, and they have a video on their website of people saying the name (after pointing out that you can say it however you like) and they are all saying “molay skeenay”. I suppose that the only way that is really NOT right is “Mole Skin”. When my son heard the podcast he said, in a TV announcer voice, “no moles were harmed in the making of this notebook”. :0)

    Welcome back! :-)

Your story about the logo got me interested, so after a quick search, I found the following (has the same video as your blog post + graphics):

But I couldn’t find anything about the older ‘rolling toilet paper’ logo… until I hit the Evernote Wikipedia page, and found a link to this article, from way back in 2005:

    Specifically, the screenshot:

    Rolling toilet paper indeed!

Good call with the elephant logo :-)

Come to think of it, I think I actually tried that old version of Evernote… somehow I didn’t find it that useful back then. I guess since Evernote has become more ubiquitous, I find it much more useful.

Yay! Glad you guys are back. I love Evernote and love the podcast.

I think checklists could use some work. It would be nice to reorganise items on a list quickly, drag and drop maybe? Other than that, it would be nice if you could sort out the Return button. Often when I hit Return on iOS in an existing list, a double line space is added above and below. Very frustrating.

      Thanks for the feedback.
