But still having a couple problems. It seems to auto-sync if I sit without typing for five seconds, and every time it does, the cursor jumps to the bottom of the note while the text scrolls so that the bottom is not visible, and a bunch of the line-breaks get screwed up.

Also, changes to the font face don’t save when I re-load a note. (Changes to the font style are just fine.)
