Meet the Speakers
Director of UX, MailChimp
Aarron is the Director of User Experience at MailChimp, where he strives to make software more human. He is the author of Designing for Emotion from A Book Apart. Aarron has been teaching design at colleges in the US and Europe for nearly a decade, and speaks at conferences around the world. His design guidance has helped the White House, the US Department of State, and dozens of startups and venture capitalists.
Founder and CEO, Brit + Co.
Brit Morin is the Founder and CEO of Brit + Co., a new media company connecting makers with creative inspiration. Through content, commerce, and community, Brit + Co. attracts people — from Millennials to Baby Boomers — looking to find quick and easy DIY projects and connect with other makers. Brit Morin finds her sweet spot at the intersection of tech and DIY and is combining her experience at Google and Apple with her passion for making and teaching.
Randy J. Hunt
Creative Director, Etsy
Randy J. Hunt is the Creative Director at Etsy, where he leads the team of designers building web products and creating offline experiences. He believes designers must be able to build what they design. He is currently writing Product Design for the Web, which will be published by New Riders in November 2013.

Sebastian Kupers will discuss the approach his company took to building the Berlin Hackathon winning app, Context Booster. The app processes notes and provides research inside Evernote.
