Our amazing global user community has always been the engine of Evernote’s growth. Those simple word-of-mouth recommendations have helped us get to where we are today. It’s also what drives us to keep making everything about Evernote better.

Introducing the Evernote Referral Program

Today, we’re launching a new program to say thanks for spreading the word. Now, whenever you invite your friends, family and coworkers to Evernote, you’ll earn points that you can use towards Premium subscriptions, monthly upload limit increases and more.

Refer Friends, Get Points and Give One Month of Premium

Inviting your friends to Evernote is easy. Go to our new referral page and sign in. Then, invite friends via email, Facebook, Twitter, or by copying and pasting your unique referral link anywhere your friends will see it. You’ll receive Evernote Points when your friends sign up through your link and sign into Evernote on any of our mobile, tablet or desktop versions.

What’s more, just for signing up through your link, your friends and colleagues will get a month of Evernote Premium so they can start enjoying powerful features like Offline Notebooks, smarter search, and more right away.

How to Redeem Points

Head to your web Account Settings to see your points balance and redeem them for rewards. You can start redeeming your points right away, and choose from the following rewards:

  • Up to 12 months of Evernote Premium

  • A 1GB boost in your monthly upload limit

  • a VIP ticket to the Evernote Conference in San Francisco

  • An exclusive visit to Evernote headquarters to have lunch with us and meet the team.

We’ll also be adding more rewards soon, so be sure to check back often to see what’s new! Please note that airfare and travel are not included in these rewards.

Other Ways to Earn Points

In addition to earning Evernote Points by referring friends, Evernote Premium users can also get points when they redeem a gift card or promotion from one of our partners, like Moleskine.

In the past, when a Premium user activated a promotion, we added that time to their current subscription. Now, with points, it’s even better. You’ll get the equivalent points, allowing you the flexibility to choose the way you redeem your promotion.

Awesome idea! Combining PD workshops, classes, blogging, my school faculty, and an entire secondary student body, I’ve referred several hundred people to start using Evernote. Any chance we can make this retroactive?

    Keep making Evernote awesome!

There seems to be a problem with using Points for upload limit boost, only reward I can select right now is 1 Month Premium.

It looks like the 1GB Upload Boost still expires after one month. It is only interesting to people who already have Premiums giving them a total of 2GB upload for a month.

Can rewards be used to purchase Evernote merchandise?
