As many of us reflect on the accomplishments of the past year, we thought we’d share a few of our tips for using Evernote to accomplish all your goals in 2014.
Be resolute. For a new you in the New Year, write down and track your resolutions to hold yourself accountable. Lists are a perfect way to help tackle goals. Write them down in an Evernote checklist and feel empowered as you check them off into the New Year. Set Reminders to keep pace with your resolutions, whether that means maintaining a weekly exercise schedule, tackling a home remodel or reading more books. Stay motivated well past January 1st by sending your checklist in a Shared Notebook to friends or family who are tackling similar resolutions.
Capture important moments. Evernote allows you to easily document the sights, sounds and tastes of the holidays. Capture audio notes from a holiday concert, snap a photo to document your holiday lights display for easy setup next season or document your family dinners using Evernote Food.
Never lose that good idea. Get Evernote on all your computers and devices so no matter where you are – in the car, on a plane or in bed – you can grab whatever device you have on hand to type some text, record audio or snap a photo.
Don’t just waste time on the web. We spend a vast majority of our time connected to the internet. Great content and ideas on the web fly by as quickly as the updates to your social news feed. Use Evernote Web Clipper to save anything — including text, links and images — into your Evernote account with a single click. The Web Clipper is great for saving articles, products, recipes, and more.
Clean out your filing cabinet. Tired of the stacks of bills, contracts, tax documents, manuals, and receipts? Take a pledge to de-clutter your life and scan these important documents into your Evernote account using the ScanSnap Edition Evernote Scanner. Put virtually anything in, and with the push of a button, all your paper documents will be scanned and filed into Evernote. It’s cool to be paper-free in 2014. Stay tuned: we’ll be announcing our 2014 Paperless Challenge in just a few weeks to help you stay motivated.
What resolutions do you hope to accomplish with the help of Evernote? We’d love to know.
