Around here, people are excited about the start of the quadrennial football tournament. Yesterday, we screened the opening match that saw host Brazil take down Croatia. Our cafeteria here at Evernote HQ is likely to see a lot more football matches throughout the next month. Let’s take a look back at some of the stories that shaped our blog and beyond.

The best thing about watching this epic football tournament is not having to leave the building. Many companies across Silicon Valley and beyond are hosting informal gatherings designed to let employees work while catching some of the tournament action. With most of the matches being played during California working hours, a televised match is a short elevator ride down to our cafeteria.
