Evernote is celebrating its sixth birthday!

When we set out on this incredible adventure in June of 2008, our primary objective was to make everyone smarter and more successful in their professional and personal lives.

Every single day, we work hard to build the workspace where you build great things and accomplish bold feats.

In honor of this milestone, let’s look back on some of the epic stories that highlight the achievements from Evernote users. Together, they have started local businesses, constructed dream homes, composed magical film scores, run incredible distances, and biked across continents.

Relive the journey, then create your own.

Throughout the next week, we will relive some of these stories and share them on our social channels including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+.

With Evernote, anything is possible.

There are marathons, and then there are ultra-marathons. The Yukon Arctic Ultra is one of the most grueling tests in sports – a 13-day, 430-mile race through some of the world’s coldest, harshest and remote landscape.

Peter Gold used Evernote as his planner, journal, and companion during the grueling race. Throughout his athletic feat, Evernote served as Gold’s primary connection to life outside the desolate Yukon.

Badelt uses Evernote daily to help harness the flow of creative ideas while working to establish a productive, collaborative recording studio. As a longtime Evernote fan, and a true power user, Badelt accomplishes all of his composition using Evernote across multiple devices including iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Android. He covered more than 7,000 miles from Florida to Alaska, and was able to remember chronologically who he met, when, and where. The people weren’t just random names on a list. Instead, they became memorable contacts and specific points in his journey he could save in Evernote, forever.

Evernote came preinstalled on a tablet I bought a few months ago, and I am learning how to use it. These 6 examples should show me how I can get more out of the app.

And yet despite 6 years, Evernote still can’t handle a simple bullet list. Shameful.

I’ve found Evernote to be invaluable at the moment as our company is undergoing a rebranding phase. It’s so handy for clipping articles, images, whole websites or just little lines & paragraphs to refer to when needed! Thanks Evernote

Wonderful to hear we have been a valuable resource and tool for your rebranding efforts. Best of luck!

Six years, yet without an official Linux client. No wonder why I decided to revert to the non-paid version. ;)
