How Our Home Cooking Ambassador Uses Doxie

Lauren Atkins, our Home Cooking Ambassdaor, uses Doxie to keep her kitchen free from paper so she has space to cook. She keeps the Doxie on her kitchen counter and scans in mail, bills, receipts, and recipes torn from magazines. She uses rechargeable batteries with her Doxie, so there are no cords. Everyday, she scans important mail, then immediately recycles everything to avoid clutter. Once a week, she pulls out the SD card, plugs it into her computer, and saves everything in Evernote. Instead of having papers scattered around her kitchen, all of her important documents are organized in Evernote where her husband can access them if needed.

We recently announced a significant new integration with Livescribe, our longtime partner and maker of digital pens. With the SKY wifi smartpen, you can take notes or doodle as you always have with a pen and paper, but can also record audio that links your spoken words with your written notes. All of your notes and audio will be wirelessly and automatically saved in Evernote. Once in Evernote, they’ll be searchable and available wherever you access Evernote.
