It’s time for another Evernote Giveaway…WoooHooo!

This time around, we are giving away a handful of awesomely amazing Eye-Fi wireless SD cards that magically send photos from your digital camera right into your Evernote account without wires or cables. We’ve talked about why we’re fans of Eye-Fi our blog in the past. Due to shipping restrictions, this contest is open to residents of the United States and Canada only.

How to enter

Entering is super simple and takes two steps.

  • Follow @evernote and @eyeficard on Twitter
  • Send a public Twitter message to @evernote containing the hashtag #evernote_eyefi

twitter-eyefi

You can include other text in your tweet like, such as “Please pick me” or “Evernote and Eye-Fi rule” or “My life is not complete without Evernote and Eye-Fi,” but you must have the full hashtag as written above. You only need to tweet once to be entered and multiple entries or flattery won’t increase your chances of winning. Don’t forget to follow @evernote and @eyeficard.

How will I know if I won?

We will announce our randomly selected winners on our Facebook fan page on Friday, June 5th at 12pm PST. We’ll accept entries until 12pm PST on Thursday, June 4th. Winners will be contacted via direct message on Twitter, so you must follow @evernote.

Here’s the video showing how it works to refresh your memory.

Due to shipping restrictions, this contest is open to residents of the United States and Canada only.

    Dear Support,

    R.e. Evernote Giveaway: Eye-Fi Cards

I quote “Due to shipping restrictions, this contest is open to residents of the United States and Canada only.”

What about your non U.S. Canada users?

    - David (U.K. Evernote fan )

    • Andrew Sinkov

@David Unfortunately, we cannot extend this giveaway outside of the US and Canada. Sorry. We’ll have some global giveaways soon. Promise.

      • Cemil

Hey Andrew – whens the next competition?

More importantly when is the next one where there is no restriction?

  • Allan

So how hard is it to post an Eye-Fi card outside of North America?

  • Mark Sheppard

Fantastic promotion guys… You keep amazing me time after time.

  • Wil C

C’mon number seven! Baby needs a new pair of shoes! Well, not really, as she seems to spend most of my money on them, but, as that is invariably the case, I very much need a Eye-Fi card as it would eliminate the need for me to tediously transfer my pictures from my camera to my computer to Evernote. So, well, there you go. Thanks for the promo all!

  • David Walters

Understand, but think any Giveaways should be for EVERYONE, not just U.S./Canada specific.

( Dont worry, still LOVE Evernote. Seriously. )

    - David

@ Allan, one wonders… though I guess when its a giveaway, that changes the game. Colour me disappointed in Australia.

  • Andrew

How many cards are in a handful?

  • Bill

Andrew, generally a handful is five. Unless Ron had an unfortunate accident in wood shop with the bandsaw, or was born with a genetic flaw that gave him six digits on each hand.

  • David

I want an eye fi card

  • Chris

Once again a global company based in the US forgets all about their users in other parts of the world.

  • Moreh

this is interesting, another technological innovations. i hope you can extend your promo outside US soon, can’t wait to try it here in our country.

  • Mimifred

Too bad you don’t ship outside US… I love using evernote… from switzerland !

  • josh mjilane

you guys are silly – these things are probably not selling that well (especially now with alternative available) and they cant be shipped out of the states for legal reasons, i bet. thats all. nothing personal.

  • Marylyn

    I love eye-fi card

  • SUZANNNA

will it work on MACS as a new laptop owner a Macbook i sure could use one of tese i have not tried to transfer pic from camera to his laptop still learnign the ins and outs of the Mac

  • lawofattraction

Well, I appreciate this way of advertisement, but am disappointed of its absence in Non-US market, we can not afford not to be using it. :-(

Do include India in countries list. :-)

  • I D

The video says they’re on sale, but I don’t see the sale price.

  • David Batchelor

    I’m with you David…

What about your non U.S. Canada users?

I agree that the limitation for location is probably due to legal restrictions than anything else. As far as US law is concerned, doing a simple giveaway is not easy. Don’t beat the team up for it.

So, get a workaround. I am a US citizen, but was a resident of Mexico for many years. I just had anything like this shipped to some family members in the US and they would send it to me. If you win, find a friend in the US to have it shipped to. I don’t think there is anything illegal about that. The Evernote team just can’t ship outside of those locations.

  • Mark

“Due to shipping restrictions, this contest is open to residents of the United States and Canada only.” – Too bad.

  • boil treatment

I have a question – i’m a resident of the U.S. but my husband is in the military so I am actually in Okinawa Japan right now (where he is stationed). But I still want to take a crack at this. Can I?

    thanks for a quick response…

    • Andrew Sinkov

@boil Sorry, the giveaway has concluded.

  • Natural Medication

    Gotta love it!
