PDF Clipping

If you spend a lot of time on the web, then you frequently encounter PDFs. The latest Evernote Web Clipper for Safari, lets you save those PDFs into your Evernote account with a single click of the Evernote Web Clipper icon. This is great for everything from product manuals to research to classwork. You can also use this feature to grab a bill or bank statement that you’re viewing in your browser—perfect for record-keeping.

For the best PDF clipping experience, make sure you have Adobe Reader installed.

Evernote Business Tags

Evernote Web Clipper for Safari works with Evernote Business, letting you clip interesting pages into Business Notebooks. Now, the Web Clipper also autocompletes your tags, so that adding something and organizing it is easier than ever. Simply start typing a tag, and you’ll see suggestions appear based on tags that already exist in your account.

And more…

This update also adds Related Results support for two Korean search engines (Naver and Daum), along with numerous behind-the-scenes improvements.

webclipper is great but why don’t you guys give an option disable auto suggestions of notebooks and tags ?? Please consider.

  • Connie Chan

We do. The Options page has an “Enable Smart Filing” option. You can set it to only suggest notebooks or only suggest tags or disable both.

How do I disable the message “Did you know that you can clip PDF’s directly to your Evernote account with the Web Clipper?” that is now popping up on every single PDF that I see in Chrome?

This works great with webpages but I have yet to get a PDF to work. I’m using Safari, not sure if that makes a difference.

When I try to clip a pdf in Safari I get “the clipper couldn’t start on this page” message.

Really like this idea behind this but when I try to take a screenshot of a multipage pdf actual graphic saved is region i selected but it is always on the last page of the PDF. I cannot include the URL because it is behind a university login. I am running on a MacBook running OSX 10.9.4 and safari 7.0.5
