More Options

Skitch for iPhone and iPad is great for fast photo annotation; that’s why we built the photo mode ‘ghost’ shapes. These are shapes that appear automatically around the focus area of your snapshot. In this update, We’ve added some new options that let you choose among a Skitch arrow, a rounded rectangle, or nothing at all when snapping photos with Skitch. Whatever shape you choose will be saved as your default, so you can quickly snap photos with just the annotations you want.

Emoticons

This update makes it easier to show how something makes you feel. Choose from one of five fun new emoticon designs and place them just as you would a Stamp. Add a smiley face to a fun photo and share with friends, or add a face with sunglasses to show your coworker how cool her design is.

You can add some text by tapping your emoticon, then hitting the add text button. In addition, tapping the (+) will reveal a pointer that can be rotated to show exactly what part of the image you’re focused on.
