There’s nothing quite like taking meeting notes by hand. You can quickly jot down important concepts, make a to-do list, and sketch out key metrics, all without missing a beat. And that pleasant scratch of pen on paper beats the clickety-clack of keys any day.

Unfortunately, notebooks lack all the stuff that we love about our computers. It’s almost impossible to find or share anything.

Evernote and Moleskine have partnered to make handwritten meeting notes a great experience with the new Evernote Business Notebook, available now in the Evernote Market.

The Evernote Business Notebook by Moleskine

Evernote and Moleskine have collaborated on several notebooks that are designed to be easily digitized using Evernote’s Document Camera. The Evernote Business Notebook adds new features that make it the perfect meeting companion.

hero_spread_cameraSaving and Sharing
After a meeting, you often need to share your notes with your colleagues. We designed the pages of this notebook to beautifully handle two sharing scenarios:

Share everything
Snap of a photo of the page using the Document Camera and choose to share the entire page with your friends and colleagues. They’ll get an email containing the whole page, with improved contrast for easier reading.

Share what matters
Since you’ll likely have your own to-dos that don’t need to be shared, write those into the lower section of the page. When you snap a photo, you can choose to only share the top section. Your recipients will get an email containing only the notes that they need to see and nothing more. You’ll have the whole page safely in Evernote.

To make sure that your project stays top-of-mind, put a check next to the Reminder icon before snapping a photo of the page with the Document Camera. Once in Evernote, you’ll see the note at the top of your note list in the Reminders section.

Smart Stickers
Each notebook comes with a set of Smart Stickers. You can customize what happens when Evernote sees a Smart Sticker on a page. For example, set the airplane sticker to mean that the image should be placed into your Travel notebook. You can define the sticker actions Evernote’s camera settings.

Evernote Premium
Each notebook comes with a code for 3-months of Evernote Premium.

The Evernote Business Notebook is available in the Evernote Market for $32.95. The Document Camera with Evernote Business Notebook support is available in Evernote for iPhone and iPad, coming soon to Evernote for Android.

Finally, you can write the way you like without compromising. Enjoy.

Is this in Evernote on IOS right now? I don’t see the “Share top section” prompt shown in the video…

    • Josh

Same here. Only sends/shares the whole page.

Do you always have to share the top business wide? This would be helpful if their were 3 options. Top Share, Full Page Share, and Full Page Private.

  • Steve

Do you have to be an Evernote Business subscriber or would a premium user suffice.

Do I need Evernote Business to take advantage of this specific notebook? If I already have a Premium account do I still get 3 months free??

  • Ben

Are these supported on the Android version yet?

Hey guys… I use the Business Notebook, I bought it thinking “this article was written a year ago, surely by coming soon they mean within a year!”

I was wrong. Evernote still doesn’t support the Moleskine Business Notebook anywhere near as well on Android as it does with iOS.

Can we get a better idea of what sort of timeline “coming soon” really means? I feel like you guys are failing to support users who pay you just as much as those fancy iOS users… just because we’re on Android.

Where’s some love for me? My money is just as green. You know, you’ve got some of it.

Same here, just bought the moleskine business notebook, tried using it with my android phone and – failed. Do you have a release date for the android support?
