Every year, some of the most talented developers in the world compete in our startup competition. Together, they build the most interesting apps that integrate with Evernote. Finalists are carefully selected by our judging committee and invited to our annual Evernote Conference to pitch their app to our community of users.

One winner takes Gold, and two others get to take home the Silver and Bronze. This year, all three of our finalists appeared at the closing address of EC4 where we revealed the winning team.

The winner of this year’s Best New Startup is Swipes. In addition to taking home the Gold, Swipes’ team will receive a $25,000 prize. From all of us at Evernote and the rest of our community, we offer a huge congratulations to Swipes as well as the Silver and Bronze winners!

Honorable Mention

Evernote Platform Award Winners

This year, we launched the platform awards with dozens of apps being nominated by the Evernote community. Winners were then chosen via a month-long voting period in which tens of thousands of votes were cast around the world.

For months, you voted for the best integrations from the Evernote App Center. All of the winning teams were flown to San Francisco and have been a big part of EC4.

Best Integration of 2014 – Feedly
Feedly is a better way to organize, read and share the content of your favorite sites. One-click save to any of your personal or business notebooks.

In addition, today at EC4, Feedly announced Collection Sharing. Combining Feedly’s 15 million users and 40 million sources, Collection Sharing is an entirely new way for readers to connect to meaningful content.
