Last week, we opened our doors to welcome Evernote enthusiasts, small business owners, and others curious about using Evernote in the workplace. It was great to connect with so many members of the Evernote community and get to know each other offline!
We kicked off the evening with group discussions around productivity, favorite tools, and Evernote tips. Everyone had a chance to participate.
Next, we heard from a panel of three expert Evernote Business Certified Consultants: Connie Johnson, Gabrielle Fishman, and Heather Walker. They shared the solutions they’ve brought to small businesses, focusing on six case studies of clients who have used Evernote to “tame the info clutter” through scanning, web clipping, and collecting business information in one place—allowing everyone on their teams to work together.
Evernote Business Certified Consultants: Connie Johnson, Gabrielle Fishman, and Heather Walker
Heather, Connie, and Gabrielle shared some of their top business solutions:
- Define your workflow. Determine where your important information comes from and where it needs to go, then document that workflow.
- Create a clear naming convention. Save time and effort with a streamlined naming system for notebooks that will help your information naturally sort itself.
- Don’t keep it to yourself. Share your notes and notebooks to ensure everyone has access to your team/family/squad’s invaluable information.
- Search is your friend. Finding important information doesn’t have to be scary or time-consuming. Evernote’s search function is fast and powerful.
Finally, we heard from two members of Evernote’s product and marketing teams, who shared how we develop products, choose which features to include, and bring new releases to people like you. After their presentation, we had a lively question and answer session with many people in the audience asking great questions.
If you weren’t able to join the event in person, check out the video recording of both panels at the top of this article. Enjoy!
